Why UX, Teams & Print needs proper tools — and what that looks like.
Why it matters
Teams meetings that sound awful. Printers that take three clicks and two IT tickets to find. A profile that takes 45 seconds to load and only has half the user's shortcuts. These are the three things users remember about VDI — more than the broker, more than the OS, more than the stack architecture.
The experience problems that look trivial are the ones that tank adoption of an otherwise-working deployment. Users forgive a 10-minute outage; they do not forgive a daily call where they can't be heard.
What good looks like
Teams audio and video offloaded to the endpoint, so the session host doesn't burn vCPUs transcoding. One print driver, one print queue per user, working from any session on any printer.
A profile that loads in seconds and carries every personalization the user expects. A consistent desktop — same look, same apps, same shortcuts — across every delivery method. Exec calls that are indistinguishable in quality from running Teams on a physical laptop.
Pitfalls without the right tools
Users disabling video on every call because the host CPU maxes out. Two IT tickets per week per branch about printing. Profile containers bloating to gigabytes until logon becomes unusable.
Executives asking why 'the new desktop' doesn't look like the old one, and nobody having a good answer. A deployment that technically works but drives the user satisfaction score down two points every quarter.

What partners measure.
Our approach
-
01
Audit
Capture Teams quality scores, print-ticket volume and profile load times across user personas. Identify the top friction points.
-
02
Design
TeamsFox for UC optimization, Tricerat for print, Liquidware ProfileUnity for persona — sized to your broker and endpoint mix.
-
03
Pilot
200-user rollout across 2 regions with before/after metrics captured automatically in Stratusphere UX.
-
04
Operate
Ongoing experience monitoring, quarterly tune-ups, and vendor L3 escalation on any audio/video or print regression.
FAQs
Does TeamsFox optimize Teams on both AVD and Windows 365?
Yes. TeamsFox is broker-agnostic — AVD, W365 Cloud PC, Horizon and Citrix all get the same media-offload path.
Can it optimize Zoom or Webex too?
TeamsFox is Microsoft Teams-only. Zoom and Webex optimization is handled at the endpoint OS level (ZeeOS / 10ZiG OS) via vendor SDK integrations.
How many print drivers remain on the session host after Tricerat?
Zero. Tricerat ScrewDrivers uses one universal driver — no per-printer driver on the session host, no print-subsystem bloat.
What profile load time should we expect?
Sub-3-second profile attach on persona-sized ProfileUnity containers — substantially faster than FSLogix on comparable hardware because the container is smaller by design.
